One minute we are having a nice pleasant conversation in chat about bed rest pillows. The next some new player came in chat and got too big for their britches. Apparently they thought they were mighty tough stuff. They found out how wrong they were as I bounced them out of the game faster than they could say, “Oh snap!”

Honestly, they had to have been either too stupid or too lazy to play anyway. I mean there are VIDEOS in the game help and on our Facebook page and they still wanted to be spoon fed answers personally! Or maybe they thought themselves too elite to be bothered with reading the game help… Whatever. They don’t belong on E-R.

That makes my:

• BMI 28.5
• Waist to height ratio 54%
• Body fat 32.9%

My waist is down 2 more inches for a total of 7 1/2″ lost since January 2011. (It had gone back up 1 1/2″ while Rhade was sick and I was off the cinnamon, but I’ve been back on it for two months now and since March 8 I have lost 3 1/2″.) None of my pants fit. Even the pair that were a little too tight when I bought them are too loose now and fall down. Odd since my weight then was 185.

I imagine my improvement since March would have been even better had I been eating something other than fast food every day.

And I have ripe strawberries out in the garden so I’m going to have a strawberry smoothie later too. Yay!

It’s been a long seven months since Rhade got sick and everything in our lives fell apart. Eating at home seems small, but it’s hard to put your life back together after something so taxing and terrible tears it apart. For us it’s a big step. A little bit of normalcy returning.

We worked on the garden today too. Mostly me. *glares at Jim* Pulled a lot of weeds and put down several layers of cardboard over the new area where we are extending the framed bed down the fence line. Jim started getting the cinder blocks ready to move from the greenhouse to frame it. I’m exhausted. I am going to be in great pain later, I can just tell. I overdid it. It just felt so good to be outside doing something again, but I was feeling sick by the time we quit for the day. Here’s hoping I don’t wind up like I did back in April when I did a little gardening.

Someday I am going to learn how to pace myself. Hopefully before I completely screw myself into being bedridden the rest of my life.

Tonight is stir fry. Some of my chard came back from last year and I wanted to use it before it went to seed. Nice fresh young leaves. mmm Only thing is I can’t exactly remember how I used to fix this. Looking through my old pictures to see if I took any of this dish.

But we are going to use the blocks and soil to my extended bed that runs down the fence. Right now it is 2′ 8″ x ~15′ and 1 block high. When it is done it will be ~2′ x ~60′ and 4 blocks high. It will be much easier for me to use it at that height. Time to start accommodating my handicap instead of fighting it and not getting as much done.

I knew going to bed I had overdone it yesterday. (which is sad and pathetic since I did so little.) As soon as the PEM hit I got right into bed. I couldn’t even sit at my desk the bone deep fatigue and feeling that I was sick was so crushing. Then today instead of 2 or 3 aching areas, it was all of me.

It’s not much, but it’s a start on what seems like an overwhelmingly huge project this year. The whole garden is overgrown thickly with weeds, I have no seeds started at all, and the greenhouse isn’t covered with screen yet. We haven’t been able to get any compost to work into the soil this year.

I’m not expecting anything great this year, and having lost Rhade all’s I really want is to just get through the season and have some food to eat.

Apparently Bran had an ‘eleven year career in the pizza industry’ and whathisname, her husband, spent ‘nine years at McDonald’s working his way from grill to Management’ before working a futher eight years in pizza stores!

Oh guys, I was angry, but upon seeing this I’ve realised that we don’t need to get too worked up about these losers. Their website was a good idea, but the design is awful, the navigation is terrible and the gameplay is clunky, slow and awkward. Good ideas that aren’t executed properly will be appropriated by others and done better, and in the end ER will fail because other people will be offering a better service, plain and simple. And Bran and her husband will be back at Pizza Hut being the King and Queen of their little store and bossing around their employees just as they do to the users of their website now.
Let them enjoy this ER ‘power’ while they have it, because these people will have nothing when it’s gone.

Someone passed along to me the latest from the blog dedicated to hating me. I hear it is incredibly slow over there. You’d think if I were half as evil as they claim it would be burning up all of blogspot’s bandwidth, yet it is so pathetically slow it proves how off base they are. Ah well.

But I had some interesting observations of this latest vitriol being spewed.

They are on about the game collapsing. It’s so horribly done. I’m such a horrible person. It is surely doomed. Any second now it is going to collapse and I will be left with nothing.

Ok. *blinks and thinks for a moment*

We just celebrated our 8th anniversary… Eight. Years. The number of people that have played numbers in the tens of thousands. Over 100,000, even accounting for multiple accounts. So having a tiny handful of them dissatisfied really isn’t a sign of the apocalypse for the game really. But it seems to be a common theme for them to predict that the game is going to close any second now. You know, ’cause it sucks so bad and I suck so bad.

So I start wondering things like:

• How do they think I’ve made it 8 years then?
• Why are they so angry if the game was so lousy?
• Why did they spend money on the game if it sucked that bad?
• What time do the fresh krispy kremes arrive at kroger?

What I think is that this prediction is really wishful thinking on their part. They are angry and are wishing bad on me because they want it to happen so it will hurt me. I would guess with the claims of me stealing their money they must have been suspended for breaking the rules. Which means they are outside now. They’ve been kicked out and they desperately want to be in. But they can’t be now because they fucked up. So they are angry. Instead of directing their anger at themselves for fucking it up for themselves, they direct it at me. Complete with wishes of bad things happening to me, showing what kind of person they in their heart. Horrible, nasty, vile, spiteful, vindictive bitches. Sad.

Clearly the game can’t be half as bad as they claim it is or they wouldn’t have wanted to play it. They wouldn’t have stuck it out long enough to get in trouble. Their level of anger and hatred directed at me for taking it away from them very likely means it was actually very important to them. They are acting like addicts.  Weak inhibition, rash, impulsive. (Which would lead to making multies.) And when denied the object they want, they react aggressively, hostilely, even violently. Deny a junkie their heroin or a gambling addict a seat at the table. Heck deny a child with this temperament a toy they want.

Anyway. What I figure is that all just means that they have, in their twisted way, told me just what an amazing job I have done with E-R.

(Oh and running an entire franchise is not a lame job that you laugh at, so laughing at me over it is just pettiness in an attempt to make themselves feel superior to me. But I’m sure the folks at their local fast food restaurants would love to spit in their food for looking down on those jobs!)

The leading cause of injuries seems to be failure to care for feet.

Of the currently injured horses, 4,278 have unkempt hooves with hoof overgrowth > 5% and 3,877 having hoof overgrowth greater than 25%. Most are probably on abandoned accounts or belong to kids that haven’t figured out how to take care of their horses. Some I noticed have been abandoned for a real year. I’d have thought they would have died in that kind of time. Maybe we should install something that sweeps the accounts that are abandoned over 3 real months because they are otherwise eating up server resources and skewing numbers.

When I search for injured horses on accounts active in the last 21 days I come up with 1,011 which is only slightly higher than expected. Ah well. A headache for another day.
